My Black Sunrise is a rock band with deep roots in the Nashville music scene, built on the combined experience of musicians from acclaimed regional acts including Generation Down, Cut Slingload, Saint Jezabel, and Voodoo Prophet.

At the heart of the band is the shared vision of award-winning singer/songwriter Spencer Ezell and award-winning filmmaker and guitarist Dennis Ricci. This paired with the production and engineering of Westside Sound’s, Jeff Shannon, drives My Black Sunrise’s unmistakable sound. While the live lineup has evolved over the years, Ezell and Ricci remain the creative force behind the band’s music.
